EVI is my most recent comic exploration in the fantasy horror genre. A pilot chapter is currently in the works, but I've made concept pieces to discover the world I would like to build. While "Metamorphosis: We as Mortals" is a dark action fantasy, I wanted to pursue something more gritty and realistic with cosmic horror.

"In a dingy, abandoned cell, a novelist awakes in a body that is not his own with fleeting memories of the past.  He cannot remember what he has done, but his heart knows what has can never be undone. He is no longer human; he has become something much more sinister and unholy. All that has remained in his possession is a gold, tarnished necklace with the script "EVI" engraved in its surface. Evi, with his new, unfortunate identity,  ventures forth to find who he is... and why flesh has replaced Earth's soil."
